Karthika now signed a film with director Baratiraja

Actress who made her entry in ‘Ko’ and was silent for a long time has now signed a film with none other than director Baratiraja.

‘Annakodiyum Kodiveeranum’ is the film that Baratiraja is making now. Earlier it was that Priyamani was roped in to play the female lead but later she was replaced by Iniya of ‘Vaagai Sooa Vaa’ fame and now it is said that finally Karthika has replaced Iniya.

Vinay of ‘Unnale Unnale’ and ‘Jayamkondan’ fame is acting in the film. The film is set in a village in Theni district. This will be the first time that Vinay and Karthika will acting in rural-centric roles.

‘Annakodiyum Kodiveeranum’ is a multi-starrer and Bharathiraja is serious about striking it big with this project, which also has R Parthipan playing a crucial role. Baratiraja has said that ‘Annakodiyum Kodiveeranum’ is the answer to directors, young directors like Prabhu Solomon and Sargunam of Kalavani.
